TRAC PROJECT
Name of Assignment or project: Worked in the EU Funded TRAC project; “Technical Assistance for the Establishment of Rize Tea Research and Application Centre” (TR07R1.10-04/001) Year: 2017 -2018; Location: Rize, Turkey; Client: EU Delegation to Turkey, and The Ministry of Science Industry and Technology for Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Rize Commodity Exchange; Turkey produces 250.000 tons of tea in 2017. Main project features: This EU-TR project (10 million Euro) is composed of 2 operational units and belongs to the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Rize Commodity Exchange; 1. Applied Research and Development Department (include Pilot Production Plant, Research and Development and Tea Test Laboratories, Packaging Unit and Pilot Tea Plantation Area); 2. Training and Consultancy Department (includes Quality Audits and Improvement Unit, Marketing and Foreign Trade Unit and Library);
AGRIFOOD SECTORAL COMPETITIVENESS
Name of Assignment or project: Worked in the project of “Technical Assistance for Increasing Agro-food Sectoral Competitiveness of Tokat Province - TR07R1.22-04/001” in the Middle Black Sea Region in TR83 region (funded by the European Union and Turkish Ministry of Science Industry and Technology); Year: 2016-2017; Location: Tokat, Turkey; Client: Middle Black Sea Development Agency; Main project features: 1. Feasibility analysis for the Agri-food Industry in Tokat Province; 2. Market Analysis for the Agri-food Industry in Tokat Province; 3. Strategic Action Plan for the Tokat Province Agro-food Industry Value Chain Competitiveness, Innovation Strategy, Skills Development, Technology, Market Access, Growth, Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship, and Action Plan for 3 years (including AgriFood Clusters & Smart Specialization)


GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES
We designed, developed and implemented a Good Agricultural Practices program to supply cereals, fruits, vegetables, meat, milk, chicken and fish products to use in baby food production operations after 2002. We helped and supported farmers, SMEs, and the private sector. We created full traceability and implemented best practices from flowering to harvest from processing to the contaminants and residue analysis according to the EU regulations.
